INFORMATION SESSIONS
As per schedule B, 5.2 of the Meadowbank Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreement (IIBA), Agnico Eagle invites all businesses interested in pre-qualifying for the awarding of contracts for the Meadowbank Project to an information session in your community to explain the pre-qualification process. If you have already pre-qualified under the Meliadine IIBA, you will automatically be pre-qualified for contracts at Meadowbank.

The Kivalliq Inuit Association has a job opening for an experienced professional to head the Financial Administration department at its Rankin Inlet office. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance will be responsible for the overall administration of the Association’s Finance department.
Emphasis will be provided to candidates resident in the Kivalliq region. This position is located in Rankin Inlet. A competitive salary and benefits package and staff housing is provided.

The Kivalliq Inuit Association is looking for nominations to fill a Directors position for a three-year term within the Nunavut Impact Review Board (NIRB).
To be considered, candidates must be actively and personally committed to representing the interests of Nunavut beneficiaries.

Nunavut Trust (3-year Term)
The 1993 Nunavut Land Claim Agreement between the Inuit of Nunavut and the Government of Canada gave Inuit in Nunavut ownership of 350,000 square kilometres, and equal representation of Inuit with government on a new set of wildlife management, resource management and environmental boards.
To be considered, candidate must be actively and personally committed to represent the interests of beneficiaries of the Kivalliq Region. KIA has implemented an open and accountable process for considering qualified beneficiaries.
